Job Description

 

The Senior Cash Allocations Representative role at Thermo Fisher Scientific focuses on managing customer portfolios, supporting collections, and ensuring accurate financial operations within a global shared services environment. This position conducts credit risk assessments, monitors payments, recommends credit limits, and resolves unapplied or unidentified transactions. The representative will collaborate with commercial teams, customers, and accounting personnel to maintain financial accuracy and support business decisions. Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and ERP proficiency are essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities:
- Manage customer portfolios and ensure compliance with payment terms and credit limits.
- Conduct credit risk assessments and recommend appropriate credit categories.
- Track unapplied and unidentified payments and support collections activities.
- Analyze financial statements and propose credit line increases.
- Coordinate and document the credit hold process for customer accounts.
- Negotiate payment plans and communicate with customers and commercial teams.


Requirements:
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fields preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in similar financial or shared services roles.
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at B2 English level.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with credit systems such as Cforia or Get Paid is a plus.
