Job Description

 

Ardent is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing solutions for geospatial and IT applications, with a focus on Esri technologies. This role ensures software quality, performance, and compliance through robust automation frameworks and collaboration with development and QA teams. The position operates within a federal contracting environment, requiring precision, documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards.


Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for Esri-based applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define test plans covering functional and performance requirements.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and document outcomes and defects.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
- Maintain documentation of test processes, scripts, and compliance with federal standards.


Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in test automation, preferably in federal contracting environments.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Experience with Esri software, including ArcGIS and related APIs.
- Programming experience in Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
