Designed Conveyor Systems is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle for customer and vendor agreements supporting material handling and warehouse automation projects. This role ensures contracts are structured, negotiated, and executed effectively while aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Legal, and Program Management to support seamless contract execution.
Responsibilities:
- Support contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Prepare, review, and analyze contracts, proposals, and amendments for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage contracts from initiation through execution and closeout, ensuring documentation and obligations are tracked.
- Identify contractual risks and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate liabilities and compliance issues.
- Communicate contract terms, requirements, and status updates across internal teams and leadership.
- Coordinate with Program Management Office to maintain visibility into contract processes and reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management or related roles.
- Strong understanding of contract law, terminology, and lifecycle management processes.
- Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, or material handling preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, or related field.
