Business Development Representative

Federato is hiring a Business Development Representative to generate pipeline through targeted outreach, working closely with Account Executives to engage insurance industry prospects and drive growth for its AI-powered underwriting platform.

Federato is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive top-of-funnel pipeline generation by targeting high-value accounts across the insurance ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect into named accounts using phone, email, and social outreach
- Generate qualified meetings and pipeline for Account Executives
- Collaborate with AEs and marketing teams on account-based strategies
- Research and map organizations to identify key decision-makers
- Maintain CRM hygiene and track outreach activity
- Learn and communicate Federato’s AI-driven underwriting platform value proposition
- Engage with senior stakeholders (e.g., VP of Underwriting)
- Continuously refine outreach strategies using data and feedback

Requirements:
- 1–2 years of B2B SaaS sales experience OR insurance industry experience (underwriting, brokerage, claims)
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, or LeadIQ
- Strong cold outreach skills (email + phone)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- High level of persistence, resilience, and curiosity
