Canonical is seeking a Senior Partner Sales Manager to lead and grow strategic alliances with Global System Integrators (GSIs), driving adoption of Ubuntu-based solutions and expanding market reach.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with GSI partners at all organizational levels
- Drive partner-led sales initiatives and increase market share for Canonical solutions
- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements
- Collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and product teams to achieve business goals
- Lead executive-level engagements, workshops, and sales events
- Identify customer needs, evaluate opportunities, and develop strategic solutions
- Represent partner feedback internally to influence product and strategy
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (OpenStack, containers, virtualization)
- Experience working with Global System Integrators
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive complex sales cycles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%
