The Partner Sales Director will drive strategic partnerships with Global System Integrators (GSIs), leading sales initiatives, building executive relationships, and expanding market reach. This role focuses on enabling partner success, increasing adoption of Ubuntu solutions, and driving revenue growth through collaboration and sales leadership.

Job Description

 

Canonical is seeking a Partner Sales Director to lead strategic engagement with Global System Integrators (GSIs). This role focuses on driving sales growth, strengthening partnerships, and expanding Ubuntu-based solutions across enterprise markets. You will work closely with internal and partner teams to deliver impactful business outcomes.


Responsibilities:
- Build and manage strategic relationships with global system integrator partners
- Drive sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with sales strategies
- Lead customer workshops, sales events, and executive engagements
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align partner solutions
- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with partners
- Identify new opportunities to expand Ubuntu adoption and market share


Requirements:
- Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, virtualization, and open source ecosystems
- Experience working with global system integrators and partner sales models
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong strategic thinking and relationship-building abilities
