NightOwl Consulting is seeking a Legal Specialist to support its client’s legal operations, focusing on mortgage and compliance-related activities. This role involves reviewing legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. You will work closely with the Associate General Counsel and contribute to maintaining efficient and compliant legal processes.

Responsibilities:
- Review Power of Attorney documents and trusts for accuracy and compliance
- Perform initial contract redlining and assist in revising legal agreements
- Analyze lease agreements and recommend necessary adjustments
- Conduct legal research on mortgage laws and compliance requirements
- Draft and edit legal documents ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Organize and maintain legal files and support internal legal operations

Requirements:
- Licensed attorney with experience in a U.S. mortgage company
- Minimum of 2 years of legal or related industry experience
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and compliance regulations
- Experience reviewing contracts, leases, and legal documents
- Proficiency in legal research and document analysis
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
