IOS Engineer

Sporty is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join its globally distributed team and take ownership of its mobile applications. The role involves enhancing existing iOS apps, building new features, and supporting expansion into new regions. You will work with modern technologies and contribute to delivering high-quality mobile experiences for sports-focused platforms used worldwide.

Responsibilities:
- Take ownership and maintain existing iOS applications to ensure stability and performance
- Build and implement new end-to-end features across mobile platforms
- Develop and design new UI components for global sporting events
- Manage app releases and deployments across multiple regions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
- Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience developing iOS applications using Swift
- Experience integrating REST APIs, push notifications, and multithreading
- Strong understanding of memory management, networking, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with UIKit, SwiftUI, MVC architecture, Jenkins, and Fastlane
- Knowledge of localisation, caching, and mobile application security
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
