A growing investment manager seeks a Buyside Equity Research Analyst to perform in-depth research, build financial models, and provide investment recommendations.
Job Description
We are seeking a Buyside Equity Research Analyst to deliver rigorous security research, build detailed financial models, and produce clear investment recommendations for the portfolio manager. The role is project-based and emphasizes independent analysis, valuation, and actionable insight generation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep-dive company and sector research and maintain coverage models.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
- Analyze market trends, financial statements and key performance indicators.
- Produce investment memos, presentations and actionable recommendations.
- Present findings and support decision-making with the portfolio manager.
- Assist in generating new investment ideas and monitor position performance.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years relevant experience in buy-side, sell-side, M&A or private equity roles.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to articulate investment theses.
- University degree and ability to manage time and research independently.
- Sector knowledge in US software or semiconductors is advantageous but not required.
