As a Paralegal, you will provide critical legal support to attorneys by managing documentation, conducting research, and assisting in case preparation across litigation, corporate, and compliance matters.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
- Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Prepare case materials including deposition summaries, exhibits, and trial binders
- Track litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are met
- Support compliance activities including regulatory filings and documentation
- Review contracts, summarize key terms, and identify risks
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates
- Maintain organized legal records using document management systems
- Assist with e-discovery processes and document review
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certification
- 3+ years of professional paralegal experience
- Proficiency with legal document management systems (Clio, Relativity, iManage)
- Strong experience in legal research (Westlaw, LexisNexis)
- Experience drafting legal documents and managing discovery
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Litigation and trial preparation experience
- Corporate paralegal experience (entity formation, governance documents)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
- Experience in e-discovery and document review
