As an HR Specialist, you will play a key role in managing HR operations, supporting employees, and ensuring compliance across the entire employee lifecycle. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with employee support.
Responsibilities:
- Post job openings and support recruitment processes, including screening and interview coordination
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientation
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems
- Track PTO, benefits enrollment, and employee data updates
- Assist with payroll reconciliation and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Support employee relations and handle HR inquiries
- Coordinate training programs and track completion
Requirements:
- 2+ years of HR operations or support experience
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, or Zenefits
- Familiarity with U.S. labor laws and compliance standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar)
- Experience with multi-state or international payroll
- Experience in SaaS, professional services, or high-growth environments
- Knowledge of HR process improvement or HRIS implementation
