As a Cybersecurity Teaching Assistant, you will support instructors and learners, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and an engaging learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide live session support during scheduled lectures on a rotational basis
- Assist in lab sessions, guiding learners through practical cybersecurity exercises
- Offer asynchronous support through messaging platforms and grading tasks
- Collaborate with instructors and fellow TAs to improve learner experience
- Manage breakout sessions to support smaller groups of learners
- Participate in administrative tasks including meetings and reporting
Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience in cybersecurity or related field
- Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent credentials
- Relevant certification such as CompTIA Security+
- Experience supporting learners, preferably in remote environments
- Strong communication and instructional support skills
- Ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts clearly
