Job Description
Consensys is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to help enhance the mobile onboarding experience across MetaMask Mobile and other products within their ecosystem. The role focuses on improving infrastructure, strengthening security, and building scalable onboarding solutions to support millions of users as web3 adoption grows. You will collaborate with engineering teams, contribute to React Native development, and occasionally work with native iOS or Android code to integrate libraries or optimize performance. Your work ensures the mobile experience remains reliable, efficient, and easy to extend as the product evolves.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain mobile onboarding architecture.
- Integrate new onboarding flows such as MPC setup and recovery.
- Contribute to React Native codebase and native modules as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure maintainable, high-quality work.
- Optimize onboarding for speed and performance.
- Support technical discussions and documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with React Native and Expo.
- Ability to work with native iOS or Android libraries.
- Skill in profiling and performance optimization.
- Experience with architectural discussions and design.
- Web3 experience is a plus.
- Rust or C++ mobile integration experience is beneficial.
