Software Quality Analyst

The company is hiring a Software Quality Analyst to ensure the reliability and quality of its digital platforms. This role focuses on manual testing, defect management, and collaboration with agile development teams to deliver stable, high-quality software across web, mobile, and desktop environments.

OneDayOnly is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Analyst to join its development team and help maintain high-quality software across its e-commerce platform. The company delivers limited-time daily deals to a large customer base, making reliability and performance critical. This role focuses on testing software features, identifying defects, and ensuring new releases meet quality standards before deployment.

Responsibilities:
- Work within an Agile development environment to support product delivery.
- Review agile stories to ensure requirements are testable and issues are identified early.
- Design detailed test cases and test scenarios for applications across multiple platforms.
- Perform manual testing of features on web, mobile, and desktop environments.
- Conduct both functional and non-functional testing activities.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution and regression testing.

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience working within Agile teams and familiarity with Scrum frameworks.
- Experience using test management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Technical ability to read code, understand SQL database structures, and write SQL queries.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and product teams.
