The Manager, Pharmacy Implementation will lead a team responsible for onboarding new clients, managing implementation projects, and ensuring successful adoption of SmithRx services while maintaining strong relationships with customer leadership.

Job Description

 

SmithRx is a rapidly growing health technology company focused on transforming the Pharmacy Benefit Management industry through innovative technology and client-centered solutions. The company provides a modern platform designed to improve drug acquisition processes, reduce healthcare costs, and deliver high-quality service to organizations and their members. The Manager, Pharmacy Implementation will play a critical leadership role within the Customer Success organization by overseeing client onboarding, implementation planning, and successful project delivery.


Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of implementation professionals responsible for onboarding new clients.
- Oversee multiple client implementation projects and ensure successful completion within timelines and budget.
- Provide strategic leadership including project assignments, implementation audits, and documentation oversight.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve implementation challenges and support client success.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training related to client onboarding and implementation processes.
- Participate in sales finalist meetings to represent the implementation strategy and support new client acquisition.


Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in implementation and project management.
- Prior experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefits management, or third-party administrator environments.
- Strong analytical abilities including advanced Microsoft Excel and system management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities.
