Research To Practice (RTP) is a respected provider of continuing medical education programs that translate complex oncology and hematology research into practical learning experiences for healthcare professionals. Led by Dr. Neil Love, RTP collaborates with global experts to produce high-quality educational initiatives that help clinicians stay informed about emerging clinical data and treatment approaches. The Scientific Director will play a central role in designing and overseeing CME programs that support evidence-based oncology education and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Dr. Neil Love and RTP’s scientific team to develop educational programs covering oncology and hematology topics.
- Design and execute CME program elements including needs assessments, agendas, learning objectives, and outcomes plans.
- Select and coordinate with faculty experts to ensure educational content meets scientific and clinical standards.
- Write and review educational materials such as modules, symposium content, and monographs for scientific accuracy and balance.
- Develop assessment questions and measurement strategies to evaluate educational effectiveness.
- Analyze assessment data and present insights to leadership to support continuous program improvement.
Requirements:
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or MS.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical communications, CME, or a related healthcare education field.
- Strong knowledge of clinical oncology and the ability to interpret complex scientific data.
- Experience developing CME programs including needs assessments and learning objectives.
- Understanding of ACCME standards, FDA regulations, and PhRMA code compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
