CareSource is seeking a Manager, Predictive Analytics and Data Science to lead a team focused on advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives within the healthcare domain. This role combines leadership and technical expertise to develop predictive models that support operational improvements, cost management, and patient care outcomes. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, finance, clinical operations, and healthcare leadership to implement data-driven strategies and deliver actionable insights from complex healthcare datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts delivering predictive analytics projects.
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex healthcare data.
- Apply natural language processing techniques to extract insights from unstructured clinical and healthcare data.
- Conduct advanced data analysis including data cleansing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, develop dashboards, and communicate data-driven insights.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership based on predictive modeling and analytical findings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in predictive analytics or data science roles.
- Experience with Python or R for statistical modeling and machine learning.
- Proficiency in SQL, data manipulation, and data visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and modern data platforms.
