Consolidation and Financial Reporting Manager

This role focuses on overseeing global accounting operations, leading financial consolidation and reporting processes, and managing accounting teams supporting international financial operations.

Mozilla is seeking a Consolidation and Financial Reporting Manager to oversee global accounting operations and lead the financial consolidation process for the organization. In this role, you will manage accounting activities including monthly close processes, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance coordination across international teams. You will collaborate with finance leaders and operational teams to ensure financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and improve accounting processes in a global environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly close and consolidation process including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Review account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Manage global accounting operations and support international finance teams.
- Develop and mentor accounting staff while coordinating with outsourced accounting teams.
- Collaborate with business partners to improve financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Support audits and compliance processes with external advisory teams.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively advanced accounting experience in a global organization.
- At least 3 years of leadership or team management experience.
- Strong knowledge of consolidation accounting and intercompany transactions.
- Understanding of foreign currency revaluation and translation adjustments.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; NetSuite experience preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting practices.
