Job Description

 

Stay Group is seeking a Retention Team Lead to oversee retention marketing initiatives for iGaming and entertainment platforms. In this role, you will lead efforts to improve player engagement and loyalty through targeted communication strategies, automated marketing journeys, and data-driven campaign optimization. You will manage email marketing infrastructure, oversee campaign performance metrics, and mentor a team of retention specialists while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.


Responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimize email deliverability including domain and IP reputation management.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and engagement trends.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to spam filtering, blacklisting, and bounce management.
- Manage email infrastructure including ESP platforms, domain authentication, and IP warm-up strategies.
- Design automated customer journeys and retention-focused marketing campaigns.
- Lead and mentor a team of retention and email marketing specialists.


Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in email or retention marketing.
- Experience working in high-risk marketing verticals such as iGaming, finance, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of email infrastructure including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and feedback loops.
- Experience with email service providers such as SendGrid, AWS SES, Optimove, or Customer.io.
- Familiarity with additional channels such as SMS and push notifications.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of marketing performance metrics.
