The FP&A Analyst role at AvantStay provides company-wide financial visibility and supports decision-making across multiple teams. The analyst will develop forecasts, budgets, and financial models while analyzing performance trends and identifying opportunities for improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to leaders and executives. The position also contributes to fundraising efforts, supports the evaluation of potential investments, and assists in building enterprise-level financial infrastructure within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business teams to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets.
- Produce recurring financial reports and presentations for executives and the Board.
- Build and maintain department-specific and company-wide financial models and dashboards.
- Support equity and debt fundraising processes and maintain operating models.
- Identify risks and opportunities across property-level P&Ls and recommend improvements.
- Analyze results, variances, and financial trends to deliver actionable insights.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with strong business acumen.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong modeling capabilities.
- Experience with NetSuite, Planful, Adaptive, or other EPM tools preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Familiarity with real estate or hospitality financial modeling and metrics.
