Job Description

 

RxSense is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help expand and optimize its data platform infrastructure that supports analytics, reporting, and operational systems across the organization. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, integrating diverse healthcare data sources, and ensuring reliable data architecture for business intelligence and product initiatives. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making while maintaining high performance and reliability across the data ecosystem.


Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for ingesting and transforming data
- Optimize SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to improve data processing efficiency
- Integrate and manage data from multiple sources while maintaining data quality and reliability
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot performance issues or system bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain data models supporting analytics and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and QA engineers to validate data requirements


Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years experience working on data engineering or ETL development projects
- Strong experience with relational databases such as Snowflake, SQL Server, or Oracle
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and query optimization
- Experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS services such as S3, EC2, and RDS
- Experience building ETL pipelines using tools such as Matillion, Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts including star schemas and data modeling
