AXS is seeking a Senior Software Architect to help define and implement the architecture for its next-generation ticketing platforms. This role plays a critical part in designing systems that support millions of global transactions for concerts, sports, festivals, and other live entertainment events. The position collaborates closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure that all systems align with the company’s long-term technology strategy while delivering reliable and scalable fan experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain enterprise architecture standards in collaboration with senior architects and engineering teams
- Perform architectural and code reviews to ensure system reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- Translate product and business requirements into scalable architectural designs
- Guide engineering teams through development lifecycles and promote best engineering practices
- Design enterprise solutions for internal systems and integrations with external partners
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for high-performance applications
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience designing and delivering large-scale software architectures
- Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end system architecture
- Experience building high-performance transactional systems
- Proficiency in backend development using .NET and Node.js
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and modern development tools
