Tether is hiring an Account Manager within the Technology Distribution team of Tether Data. This role focuses on managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving digital wallets, payments infrastructure, tokenization, peer-to-peer technologies, and decentralized AI solutions.


The Account Manager will serve as a key liaison between clients, government entities, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring strategic alignment, governance oversight, and successful delivery of high-impact programs.


Responsibilities:


Client & Partner Engagement:
- Serve as primary point of contact for institutional clients and partners.
- Manage communications, expectations, and long-term relationship development.
- Coordinate with payment providers, exchanges, technology vendors, and government institutions.
- Identify cross-initiative opportunities to deploy multiple Tether technologies.
- Support expansion and collaboration efforts across sectors.


Project Governance & Delivery Oversight:
- Oversee program implementation progress led by Product Managers.
- Ensure alignment with contractual terms, delivery timelines, and expectations.
- Maintain governance artifacts including action logs, risk registers, and decision documentation.
- Track milestones and drive accountability across workstreams.
- Escalate operational or strategic issues when necessary.


Cross-Team Coordination:
- Facilitate collaboration between Product, Engineering, Legal/Compliance, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Maintain dashboards and executive reporting summaries.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.


Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in account management, program coordination, or project governance within fintech, technology, or consulting environments.
- Experience working with corporate and government stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of digital assets, blockchain, or financial technology ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- High ownership mindset and ability to operate in fast-paced environments.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).- Experience with tokenization, custodial solutions, or payment infrastructure.
- Crypto/blockchain/AI vendor sourcing or management expertise.


This is a strategic, client-facing role ideal for a fintech professional comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder environments while driving accountability and execution across transformational blockchain initiatives.
