Contracts Manager

Tether is a global fintech company pioneering reserve-backed digital tokens and blockchain-based financial solutions. The Contracts Manager oversees the negotiation and management of commercial agreements across multiple business lines, including stablecoins, AI, peer-to-peer applications, and education, while leading a team and driving contract process efficiency.

Tether is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee and manage the preparation, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements supporting multiple business lines, including stablecoins, AI, peer-to-peer communications, education, and energy initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee direct reports negotiating commercial agreements
- Act as an escalation point for team members and internal stakeholders
- Oversee legal engagement processes and implement workflow efficiencies
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including MSAs, SaaS agreements, NDAs, sponsorship agreements, collaboration agreements, and MOUs
- Identify, mitigate, or escalate legal risks appropriately
- Serve as liaison between business units and stakeholder groups in shaping and preparing agreements

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract negotiation or contract management
- Strong English communication skills
- Proficiency with workflow tools such as Monday.com and Jotform
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:
- Qualified to practice law
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Experience with crypto assets or blockchain environments
