The Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (EU) partners with sales teams to design tailored MES solutions, deliver technical demonstrations, and lead proof-of-concept implementations. This role bridges manufacturing technology expertise with technical sales execution to drive customer success and platform adoption.

Job Description

 

Parsec Automation is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (EU) to serve as a technical partner throughout the sales cycle for its TrakSYS™ MES platform. This role combines deep manufacturing technology expertise with consultative solution design to help customers optimize production efficiency, quality, and operational visibility.


Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales teams to conduct discovery, qualify opportunities, and design tailored TrakSYS solutions
- Deliver customized product demonstrations aligned with customer manufacturing environments
- Design solutions integrating across machine, PLC, SCADA, and ERP layers
- Lead development of proof-of-concept environments using SQL and C# to simulate real-world manufacturing scenarios
- Communicate customer feedback to product and engineering teams to support continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders throughout the sales and implementation process


Requirements:
- Strong experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and industrial technology layers
- Proficiency in SQL for complex queries and PoC support
- Experience with C# or another object-oriented programming language
- Background in Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer roles within manufacturing or industrial software
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to varied audiences
- Analytical problem-solving ability aligned with manufacturing process optimization
