Allbirds is seeking a Director, Paid Media to lead paid marketing strategy and execution across digital channels. This role balances hands-on campaign management with high-level strategic planning to drive profitable growth across acquisition and retention initiatives. The position manages a small team and external partners while optimizing performance metrics including ROAS, CAC:LTV, and revenue growth within a dynamic eCommerce environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute paid media strategies across Search, Social, Display, Affiliates, and CTV.
- Manage in-platform campaign execution including bidding, targeting, budget allocation, and creative optimization.
- Build monthly, quarterly, and annual media plans aligned with growth and efficiency goals.
- Lead structured creative testing initiatives in collaboration with the creative team.
- Leverage first-party data and CRM insights to improve targeting and measurement.
- Mentor and manage a team of paid media specialists while remaining actively involved in execution.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of paid media experience in high-growth eCommerce or DTC environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and related platforms.
- Experience driving measurable acquisition growth and incremental ROAS.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with expertise in testing methodologies and MMM.
- Proven ability to translate data insights into actionable creative and performance strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.
