Senior Manager, Finance - Cost Reporting

This role oversees cost reporting, financial reconciliations, and Medicaid filings while leading a finance team. The position focuses on financial analysis, data management, compliance with GAAP and statutory principles, and process optimization to ensure accurate reporting and operational effectiveness.

CareSource is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance – Cost Reporting to oversee the end-to-end cost reporting process within a managed care environment. This leadership role ensures accurate financial reconciliation, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across Medicaid financial filings and internal reporting. The position partners with cross-functional finance teams while developing staff capabilities in coding accuracy, financial analysis, and data management.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee quarterly reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Manage all Medicaid financial filings and support independent financial reporting and audits.
- Reconcile cost reports with financial systems, including IBNR lag analysis and encounter data variances.
- Lead ad hoc and trend analyses to inform leadership decision-making.
- Audit and streamline SQL code processes, including enhancements within Databricks.
- Supervise, develop, and evaluate team members, including staffing and performance management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum seven years of data management or coding experience.
- At least four years of management experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or Statutory Accounting Principles.
- Experience in healthcare or managed care environments preferred.
- Proficiency in financial reconciliation, internal controls, and analytical problem-solving.
