MSS/ Payer Enrollment Specialist

Valera Health is seeking an MSS/Payer Enrollment Specialist to support the expansion of its tele-mental health provider network. This role is responsible for managing payer enrollment, credentialing compliance, and provider data integrity to ensure timely access to care and optimized revenue cycle performance. The position serves as a key operational partner to newly onboarded providers and health plans, maintaining regulatory excellence across state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Compile and submit Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payer enrollment applications.
- Monitor application status and proactively follow up with health plans to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain provider credentialing portfolios, tracking licensure, DEA certificates, and malpractice coverage.
- Ensure compliance with NCQA, CMS, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Administer CAQH databases and internal credentialing systems, ensuring accurate provider records.
- Audit health plan directories and prepare credentialing, recredentialing, and delegated roster reports.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of credentialing experience, including Medicaid enrollment.
- Understanding of credentialing’s impact on the healthcare revenue cycle.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.
- Effective communication skills for provider and payer coordination.
