Testing Specialist/Tester

As a Testing Specialist/Tester, you will design and execute comprehensive software testing strategies across integration, regression, acceptance, performance, and automation testing. This role ensures system compliance, security validation, and adherence to regulatory and technical requirements within a secure environment.

Horizon Industries Limited is seeking a Testing Specialist/Tester to provide expertise in software testing across multiple testing disciplines. This full-time remote role is responsible for validating system functionality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining quality assurance standards throughout the software development lifecycle. The position collaborates with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to confirm system performance, security, and conformance to design specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and execute integration, regression, acceptance, end-to-end, performance, and automation tests.
- Develop and maintain detailed test scripts, cases, and documentation.
- Prepare and manage test data to support various testing phases.
- Review and evaluate test results for compliance with design requirements.
- Analyze internal system security during testing cycles.
- Collaborate with project teams to align testing activities with business and technical requirements.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with automated testing tools and maintaining test cases.
- Background in system, regression, acceptance, and performance testing.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Active Secret security clearance or Tier 3 (T3).
- DoD 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT Level I or higher.
