Backend Developer

The company provides end-to-end automation from product sourcing to order fulfillment. This role focuses on developing and maintaining scalable backend services, enhancing Flask-based systems, integrating APIs, and ensuring high production reliability within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

AutoDS is seeking a Backend Developer to contribute to the evolution of its eCommerce automation platform. The company empowers online sellers by automating the full dropshipping lifecycle, from product sourcing to order fulfillment. This role plays a key part in developing scalable backend services, improving system performance, and maintaining production reliability in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company’s core backend systems
- Enhance and extend Flask-based backend services
- Design and implement integrations with internal and external APIs
- Uphold coding best practices to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
- Improve backend service performance and reliability under load
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation to maintain production stability

Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python development
- Proficiency in at least one additional object-oriented programming language
- Strong experience with SQL and database management
- Understanding of backend architecture and system design principles
- Experience modernizing and maintaining legacy production systems
- Experience using AI tools and code agents to enhance development workflows
