Field Application Engineer

The Field Application Engineer will bridge the gap between engineering and customer success by providing technical expertise, supporting product integration, and guiding customers through design, validation, and production phases to maximize the performance of semiconductor products.

FortifyIQ is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide technical expertise and customer-facing support for advanced semiconductor solutions. This role bridges engineering and customer success by guiding clients through product integration, validation, and production while ensuring optimal performance and alignment with technical specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support throughout customer design, validation, and production stages  
- Develop in-depth knowledge of semiconductor product capabilities and applications  
- Conduct schematic and PCB layout reviews to ensure proper system integration  
- Support sales efforts with technical presentations and identify new business opportunities  
- Gather customer feedback to inform product enhancements and roadmap planning  
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges  

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering  
- 5+ years of experience with Registering Clock Drivers (RCD), Power Management ICs (PMICs), or related components  
- Familiarity with JEDEC standards and Intel or AMD memory subsystem specifications  
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills  
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities  
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a customer-facing environment
