Carrot is seeking a Director, Content Marketing to lead and evolve its global content strategy, shaping the brand’s voice and narrative across channels. Reporting to the VP of Brand and Experience Marketing, this role drives thought leadership, storytelling, and performance-focused content initiatives that support pipeline growth, brand authority, and member engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content and communications strategy aligned with business objectives
- Define and maintain Carrot’s tone, voice, and messaging architecture across all external channels
- Lead editorial planning and personally write high-impact assets including reports, case studies, blog posts, and web copy
- Oversee organic content strategy across website, blog, email, and social channels
- Partner with SEO and demand generation teams to optimize visibility and engagement
- Manage and mentor in-house and freelance content contributors while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of B2B or B2B2C content marketing experience
- Proven success leading content programs that drive measurable business outcomes
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex clinical or technical concepts
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, or benefits industries
- Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
