Exmox is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems that power real-time ad delivery, campaign performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making within the mobile gaming ecosystem. In this role, you will take ownership of distributed architectures and high-traffic services, collaborating closely with product and data teams to deliver measurable business impact in a fast-scaling environment.

Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement high-scale backend systems using Python and modern frameworks
- Design and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs for internal teams and external partners
- Optimize performance and scalability using caching, profiling, and distributed system best practices
- Contribute to containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes with strong observability standards
- Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and promote clean, scalable system design
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver features that directly improve campaign performance and ROI

Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including high-volume, data-rich systems
- Strong Python expertise with frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience optimizing latency-sensitive, high-throughput systems
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure
- Strong communication skills and ability to align technical decisions with business objectives
