Roadie is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to join its engineering team and contribute to building scalable logistics technology solutions. As part of a collaborative, agile environment, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, implement, and test software that supports nationwide delivery operations. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world technical challenges and modern development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, implement, and test applications in an agile environment
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code for innovative logistics products
- Work cross-functionally with QA specialists and Product Owners to deliver reliable software solutions
- Contribute to backend and platform development using technologies such as Golang, Ruby, and Python
- Identify technical issues and propose improvements to enhance system performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and continuous integration processes to maintain code quality
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience developing and debugging software in Python, Golang, or Ruby on Rails
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to code accuracy and reliability
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills in fast-paced environments
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Eagerness to learn and contribute within a collaborative engineering team
