This role supports business operations by implementing engineering solutions, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance across distributed global teams.

Job Description

 

Canonical is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across Salesforce and related business systems. As part of the Commercial Systems unit, this role supports global business operations by implementing scalable system improvements and ensuring compliance across distributed teams. The Salesforce Administrator collaborates closely with engineering and operational stakeholders to enhance CRM and ERP functionality while maintaining high technical standards.


Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain solutions within Salesforce, NetSuite, and other business systems.
- Collaborate on business requirements, technical designs, and peer code reviews.
- Support and optimize CRM/ERP workflows aligned with Canonical’s processes.
- Ensure system compliance, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to best practices in engineering and organizational standards.
- Mentor colleagues and provide guidance depending on seniority level.


Requirements:
- Strong academic track record with a technical undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Professional written and spoken English communication skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with commitment to meeting deliverables.
- Willingness to travel internationally twice per year for company events.
