Carrot is seeking a Director of Content Marketing to lead its global content strategy and define the company’s voice across all external communications. Reporting to the VP of Brand and Experience Marketing, this role will shape narrative architecture, oversee editorial strategy, and ensure consistent, compelling storytelling that reinforces Carrot’s leadership in fertility and hormonal health. The Director will manage a small internal team and external partners while collaborating cross-functionally to translate business priorities into high-impact content programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content and communications strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Define tone, voice, and messaging architecture across campaigns, thought leadership, and branded content.
- Write and oversee creation of blogs, white papers, case studies, reports, and web copy.
- Own organic content strategy across blog, website, email, and social channels.
- Lead content measurement using KPIs and optimize performance based on insights.
- Manage and mentor internal team members and external freelancers to ensure quality and alignment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of content marketing or editorial experience.
- Proven success leading content programs in B2B or B2B2C environments.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with hands-on content development experience.
- Experience translating complex healthcare or technical concepts into accessible narratives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
