Platform Architect

The Platform Architect will define and evolve the architectural foundation of MARA’s sovereign, energy-aware AI platform across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS layers. This strategic and hands-on leadership role bridges infrastructure engineering, platform design, and product architecture to enable governments, enterprises, and AI innovators to deploy, scale, and govern AI workloads in modular data centers, edge environments, and sovereign clouds. The position requires technical expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and long-term architectural vision.

The Platform Architect will define and evolve the architectural foundation of MARA’s sovereign, energy-aware AI platform spanning IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS layers. This role bridges infrastructure engineering, platform design, and product architecture to enable governments, enterprises, and AI innovators to deploy, scale, and govern AI workloads across modular data centers, edge environments, and sovereign clouds.

Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and evolve platform architecture across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Design interoperability patterns connecting modular data centers, Kubernetes clusters, and sovereign control planes
- Establish standards for scalability, compliance, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and application teams
- Define telemetry and self-healing frameworks
- Drive energy-aware compute strategies and alignment with Exaion

Qualifications:
- 8+ years in infrastructure or platform architecture roles
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, service meshes, observability stacks)
- Experience with HPC, AI/ML, or edge compute
- Strong background in automation (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications include sovereign cloud architectures, energy efficiency models, and regulated industry experience.
