Job Description

 

Spotter is seeking a Business Development Specialist to manage and strengthen relationships with state agencies while ensuring operational compliance and documentation accuracy. This role serves as the primary liaison with government institutions, supporting contract management, application tracking, and regulatory alignment. The Specialist will maintain organized internal systems and proactively address compliance requirements to ensure uninterrupted operations across multiple states.


Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for state agencies such as DMV, BMV, and DPS.
- Track multi-state application processes, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely submissions.
- Manage state contracts and agreements, supporting documentation review and negotiations.
- Administer agency portals, maintain secure credentials, and resolve access issues.
- Coordinate compliance documentation, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support strategic government growth initiatives.


Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, compliance, government relations, or operations.
- Experience working with state agencies or regulated environments preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and documentation management skills.
- Ability to interpret legislation and adapt operational processes for compliance.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
